Who Am I?

 

 

My name is Paula Vargas-Moreno.

I am the mother of 2 boys, ages 14 and 18. I have been married for 20 years.  I worked in the Houston Independent School District (HISD) for 26 years before leaving on June of 2007 after the death of my mother. During this time, I have been a teacher assistant and an office clerk. I look forward to going back to HISD one day.

Quién Soy

Mi nombre es Paula Vargas-Moreno. Soy la madre de 2 niño, edades 14 y 18. He estado casada por 20 años.  Trabajé en el distrito escolar de Houston (HISD) por 26 años antes de salirme despues de el falleciento de mi mamá. Durante este tiempo, he trabajado como ayudante de maestra y oficinista. Espero regresar al distrito escolar algun día.

My Hobbies & Interests Include:

  • I am a catechist at IHM Catholic Church. I teach the third grade(3rd) non-communion class.

  • I love to read and go to the library at least once every two weeks.

  • Sewing and Crotchet are my favorite arts and crafts projects.
    Bike Riding:   Although I do not do it as much as I would like to, I find it to be relaxing.

  • You can finding me "surfing" the net in the evenings looking for great parent and education websites.

  • I love to play "Mexican Loteria " with my sisters and their family. I also love to do Word Search and  Puzzles.

  • I am intrigued by anything that has to do with "Angels" and "Miracles on Earth"

  • I like to collect items that have an Egyptian or Medieval theme

Mis Aficiones Y Intereses Incluyen:

Soy una catequista en la iglesia católica de IHM. Enseño la clase de tercer grado ( de niños que no harán la primera comunión) este año.

     

  • Amo leer e ir a la biblioteca por lo menos de una vez cada dos semanas.

     

  • La costura y tejer son mis artes preferidos y me gusta hacer proyectos a mano.

     

  • Aunque no lo hago tanto, me gusta pasearme en la bicicleta.

     

  • Me gusta pasar las noches en el internet buscando sitios de padres y de la educación.

     

  • Jugar a la "Loteria mexicano"es algo que me gusta hacer con mis hermanas y sus familias.

     

  •  También me gusta hacer búsqueda de palabras y rompecabezas . 

     

  • Me intrigan cosas que tienen temas de "ángeles" y "milagros en la tierra" .

     

  • Me gusta colectar artículos que tienen un tema egipcio o medieval.
